General

When you opt in to the service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup.

By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated informational and promotional text messages from Masjid Al-Furqan — West Cobb Islamic Center. This includes prayer time and iqamah updates, jumu'ah and khutbah announcements, event and class reminders, volunteer opportunities, masjid closures, and fundraising or campaign updates. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up, or to any other number you designate.

Message frequency varies, and additional messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with Masjid Al-Furqan. We reserve the right to change the frequency of messages sent at any time, and to change the short code, phone number, or alphanumeric sender that messages are sent from.

Your usual message and data rates may apply. If you have questions about your text or data plan, contact your mobile provider.

Your consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase, donation, membership, or participation in masjid programs.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cancellation

Messages will provide instructions to unsubscribe, either by texting STOP or through an included link. After you unsubscribe, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. If you would like to receive messages from us again, simply sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending messages to you again.

Help and Support

For support regarding our messaging service, email us at masjidalfurqanwcic@gmail.com, or text HELP to our number at any time and we will respond with instructions. If we include a link in a message we send you, you may also access unsubscribe instructions and our organization information by following that link.

Transfer of Number

You agree that before changing your mobile number, or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply STOP from the original number, unsubscribe using the link included in our messages (if one is provided), or notify us of your old number at masjidalfurqanwcic@gmail.com. The duty to inform us of these events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.

Privacy

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share your mobile number only with the service providers who help us deliver these messages, such as our messaging platform and mobile carriers.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time. If you do not agree to a change to these Messaging Terms, you should cancel your enrollment in the messaging program. Your continued enrollment following such changes constitutes your acceptance of them.
